six-mimosa brunch, grililing on the front stoop, margaritas, gay pride parade on 7th Ave, locked into Great Lakes, Dinosaur Jr on the jukebox, 5:30am bagel run, back to Great Lakes, 7am sleep. somehow i managed to make the day simultaneously relaxing and hectic.
summer vacation started yesterday when i flew out to Brooklyn to stay with Pete and Urcella for the weekend. so far we've been up to all the normal shenanigans, including sushi, booze at Great Lakes, drunken TV until 6am, drunken brunch this afternoon. highlights include buying a new pair of sunglasses and discovering the new Adult Swim show Korgoth of Barbaria . folks are coming over tonight to grill steaks on the stoop and drink booze, and there's talk of a show in Williamsburg later. i'm sure i won't make it to bed until 6am again. that's how Brooklyn goes for me.
